Cycle and Redux

Rebirth. Renewal. Released.

Some people look at writing, or any craft for that matter, and start with a head full of ideas and a heart full of passion. Then life happens and that energy is snuffed out. Some people begin in much the same way, but then begin to become discouraged that they are not making the impact that they hoped. They may continue on, but only offering a fraction of the energy they once had for their craft. Then there are the quiet few who remember why they really started, and though temporarily withheld (even for years) remember to come back to the workspace and start where they left off.

Take some time off. Work a little bit on things here or there, but ultimately you only fail when you stop trying.

So now to the fun stuff. I have begun to dust off all my old materials and set up my work…no, crafting space. Work is just that. Work. Here we are creating. Creating is fun and enjoyable. If you get to do what you enjoy then it isn’t really work now is it. So much like sparking the logs in a freshly cleaned fireplace, I am being to rekindle my craft.
