Chapter 2 is now live! This is where I learned how to play Dungeons and Dragons once again. While I had played the game a lot in the past, I had not played it for several years at this point. Routine checks, asking the right questions, looking for the right things, all took their sweet time coming back. Didn’t help that I was the DM the majority of the time either, and except for a Pathfinder 2nd Ed. Adventure roughly three years ago, I really hadn’t gotten to actually ‘play’ so much. Granted, it was really enjoyable, but it was also very slow with the character reactions and the plot development relying on a random table of 500 words. I soon began to find my rhythm, and it became my evening routine to pick up my notes, roll some dice, and play through what soon became this novel.
