Read through the first act of The Sword, the Song, and the Mage. Again, I am reminded of how far this project has come: from dice and graph paper to a growing epic I am already planning future instalments of. I am currently focusing primarily on grammar and mechanics, while incorporating my readers’ suggestions to add clarity and depth to the lore. Still, every time I pick this story up, I am gone for hours at a time. I cannot wait to finish this one and begin the next.
You’ll have to bear with me as I just had surgery to correct an issue stemming from an injury incurred during a company-organized sports event. I have to keep my right arm elevated at all times, which makes typing a bit of a chore. But what better way to heal than to work on a story that I love and get ready for the big launch event I have planned this summer? In the meantime, I am working on TikTok with several 21-second advertisements for the upcoming novel. Some of you may realize my disdain for such measures, but several author/influencers I follow highly recommended the technique, especially when the cost-to-impact comparison is in balance.
Anyway, you can click the links (or the reload buttons within the borders) below to check them out in all their cheesy glory.
Until then:
